Cruising is a wonderful way to see the stretch of the Nile between Luxor and Aswan and reverse. In 7 days you will discover the historical highlights along the Nile River while you are sailing on a luxury Nile cruise boat. You can include Abu Simbel to your program to see the great temples were built to honor pharaoh Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. You can combine this tour with our Cairo package which will give you chance to see world famous Pyramids.

Day 1 Aswan

Depending your request, we will arrange your pick up from the airport, train station or your hotel in Luxor to the cruise ship. After embarking on your cruise, you will meet your Egyptologist tour guide. Continue sailing along the Nile River passing through the wonderful sceneries of the Egyptian villages. Remember that none of the achievements of the remarkable ancient Egyptian civilization would have been possible without the Nile River. At the end of the day arrive in Aswan is the city of "trade", Egypt's sunniest city and the perfect destination to stroll and relax in a magical cultural setting because it offers a rich cultural experience of Nubians. You can shop for spices, henna tattoos, souvenirs and African handmade goods at the Aswan souk. Enjoy wonderful views and watch feluccas slowly sailing the Nile River. Enjoy dinner on board and stay overnight in Aswan.

Day 2 Aswan 

After breakfast you will visit High Dam is the biggest in Egypt and collects water from Lake Nasser is the world's largest artificial lake. Next we will visit the Philae Temple dedicated to the Goddess Iris and stands on the island of Agilika. Thus we will need to use small boats to reach the island which will also give you chance to take wonderful photos. The original site of the temple when it was relocated by UNESCO after the building of the Aswan Dam threatened the site. Don't forget that you can also join our optional Sound and Light Show to see the temple in the evening.
 
In the afternoon we recommend you to take a traditional felluca ride to discover Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 3 Edfu - Esna - Luxor

Today you will have chance to join our option Abu Simbel Tour arranged either by plane or bus depending your budget. Don't forget that Abu Simbel is one of the must seen places of Egypt with the most familiar image of ancient Egypt. Complex of Abu Simbel contains two temples, carved into a mountainside, that were built by pharaoh Ramesses The Second. The larger of the two temples contains four colossal statues of a seated Ramesses II at its entrance, each about 69 feet (21 meters) tall. The entranceway to the temple was built in such a way that on two days of the year, October 22 and February 22, the light would shine into the inner sanctuary and light up three statues seated on a bench, including one of the pharaoh. It’s been hypothesized that these dates may celebrate his coronation and birth.
 
You will enjoy lunch on cruise and sail to Esna via Kom Ombo and Edfu. Tonight you will be invited to a special dinner on board will be an "Egyptian Night" also known as "Galabeya Night" party for all guests, with a chance to dress up in traditional Egyptian costumes. There will be a lavish buffet of Egyptian specialties food, followed by oriental music and dancing for everybody.

Day 4 Luxor

Enjoy breakfast and then your tour guide will take you to  the East Bank of Luxor including visits to the most impressive temples of Karnak and Luxor. First visit to the Temples of Karnak where you will walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the massive temple complex. Next visit to Luxor Temple was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a 2 kms long Avenue of Sphinx. Return to the cruise for lunch.
 
In the afternoon you will be offered an optional excursion to Luxor Museum where the most of the artifacts displayed were discovered in the area of ancient Thebes (modern Luxor). Highlights of the collection include masterpieces of pharaonic art as well as examples of everyday objects.  Dinner and stay overnight in Luxor.

Day 5 Luxor 

Begin your visits in Luxor stands where ancient Thebes, the "City of the Thousand Gates," once stood. In Arabic Language Luxor means "the Palaces" because it hosts a great number of magnificent temples and tombs.
 
You will across to the West bank of Nile represents "Afterlife" and it is known for its necropolis and mortuary temples: the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Medinet Habu. Here you will visit the Valley of the Kings including the tombs of the Thebian rulers and the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, the only woman pharaoh to reign in ancient Egypt. The Temple is associated with Hathor "the goddess of love and joy" and it was originally surrounded by tropical gardens with plants imported from Somali. Finally visit the Valley of The Queens and the famous Colossi of Memnon, which once guarded the entrance to the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. The temple was destroyed by an earthquake and the Colossi is the only remaining now. Enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Esna - Edfu

Today, you will sail along the Nile River the longest river in the world, is the life blood of Egypt, a land known for its history and civilization. Stop at  Edfu at south of Luxor and is the site of one of the greatest and best preserved temples of ancient Egypt. The temple of Edfu was dedicated to Horus (son of Isis) and provides a wealth of information through its inscriptions, which describe the founding and construction methods of similar temples, as well as daily rituals and myths of ancient times. This temple is considered as the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak Temple. Dinner will be served on board. Stay overnight in Edfu.

Day 7 Kom Ombo

Explore Kom Ombo is located on the north of Aswan and since earliest times, has received visitors who have traveled through the Libyan and Arabian deserts from Sudan caravan routes. The town of Ombos gained administrative importance during the Ptolemic age as it protected the southern border of Egypt and in the Roman period was a military station.
 

Kom Ombo famous with a The temple has a double sanctuary and is dedicated to two divinities: Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (the Crocodile God). It has two identical entrances, hypostyle halls and sanctuaries. The symmetry of the temple layout is a tribute to the mythical link the two gods shared. Built on an outcrop at a bend in the Nile where crocodiles used to gather in ancient times, the temple is a testament to the importance Ancient Egyptian priests placed in the natural cycles and crocodiles of the Nile. Visit the temple to see mummified crocodiles, clay coffins and spectacular reliefs on the walls. Return to your cruise ship for overnight stay.

What do you need from me to begin a proposal for a customized Egypt tour?

Is airfare included in programs? Can I book my international flight through you?
Tour quotes do not include airfare to/from the trip start point. You can purchase your airfare tickets through the internet or a wholesaler. By booking your own flight, you have more flexibility and control of your choices - in real time.
 
What type of accommodation do we use?
TSC Travel use hotels situated at excellent locations and close to all amenities. Room types range from double rooms to junior suites, depending on the package of choice. Amenities and facilities may differ from those in South America, North America, Australia or Malaysia.
 
What type of transportation is used on tours?
TSC Travel utilize a variety of transportation methods including public and private minivans, cars, coaches, trains, flights, ferries, boats, etc. We use whichever method provides travellers with the safest and most efficient transportation option.

Booking Conditions

Availability cannot be guaranteed until booked. We require a deposit payment at time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit payment is payable by credit card or bank transfer.
 
Credit Card: For your protection, we need you to sign the credit card payment form upon receipt and return it with verification of legal identification (e.g. copy of your passport or driver’s license) after your credit card has been charged. We will inform you in advance of purchase of any credit card fees that may apply.
 
Bank transfer: Payment can be sent to our company bank accounts. Our representative will send you detailed information for the booking process including bank transfer details.  Please note our rates do not include the transfer costs of your bank or their agents. Please be sure that all costs paid additionally!
 
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations must be made in writing directly to TSC Travel. No responsibility is taken for cancellations of airfare, hotel bookings, or any other extra services which have been made directly by the client.The following scale of charges will apply when cancellation is notified for all land packages, tours and programs;
 
Prior to arrival:
Charge 60 days or more: 10% of selling price (Administrative Fee)
59-46 days: non-refundable deposit 35% of selling price
45-21 days: 50% of selling price
20-0 days: 100% of selling price
* Special conditions apply for canceling of tailor-made tour programs.
 
The following scale of charges will apply when cancellation is notified for tours that include a Cruise program:

If you have to withdraw from a tour after it has begun for reasons such as illness, be sure to obtain a medical certificate in support of any insurance claim. We are unable to make refunds for absences from a tour, including but not limited to missed meals or entrance tickets.
 
Flight/ferry/train/bus tickets are not included in the above cancellation policy. Once your program is confirmed and the tickets are purchased, any changes to the dates of the program will incur a change fee or in case of cancellation, (this is additional to the service fee), 100% cancellation fee for the tickets will be incurred regardless of the above cancellation policy. When and How I will receive my tour documents?
Travel documents and electronic flight tickets are usually sent 21 days prior to departure. However, you will receive tour vouchers, maps, ferry, bus or train tickets and other required information upon arrival in Turkey. This will be included in a welcome package waiting for you upon arrival at your hotel.
